Museums

The official Day II had more microbiology and biochemistry lessons  in the morning (reliving the glory of Spring 2012. Not that I'm complaining).

Evening had us visiting museums of the Abbey and the house of a wealthy person. 

This post will be more of a picture spam of beautiful old stone things. And tourists. 

Miniatures! Models! Wee blocks of wood depicting  an old, old abbey that once stood proudly in the region! A finger pointing in reverence!  

A more impressive view of the model. It looks very neat and polished.

I think this is what's called a 'capital' of the column. I used to know these things. Anyway, notice the very nice floral  decorations.
